Just a little update, after the truck was wrecked I disassemled it, put the engine in the shop & sold the front axle & steering,
A few weeks ago a guy drove out here from michigan & bought what was left of the truck,
Cab, front clip, bed, frame, rear diff, link bars, drop box, & drivelines, He said he is going to put it back together the way it was & use his 606 ci 1200 hp ford in it, so maybe we'll see it running again one day.

As for me, I still have he engine trans, & coil overs, &'i building a plan for this winter, so we'll see what comes of it.

I wish I could afford a monster truck, building one would probably not be a problem, however, owning one would probably break the bank,

I have a pretty clean later 70's F-250, a set of 2.5 ton top loaders, the 14" coils & a 16" drop reverser box, those parts along with the engine & tranny from the 49 should make for an interesting cost effective ride

What's not cost effective is the house remodel I have to do before I get to this project :D
