you're side bars pin out?
They are removeable,
I'm sure you've seen some drag cars with door bars that open for easy access, these are the same concept, I'm not worried about easy access, just might need to get the bars out some day.

RIP Kelby
Once along time ago, in a subduction zone not to far away, great thrust faults and up-lift occurred, that my friend blows me away..... In this great land, we all treasure the same, I see no reason to only have mud trails, thats just lame. Thus today I made a vow I promise to uphold, I will find a rock trail in Alberta by hunting through the heat, rain and even the cold. So to all those Igneous and sedimentary rocks around, look out, the day is coming when you will be found.

Awesome buildup and an excellent tribute to your brother. I've sorta based my truck on my Dad that died when i was 23 and it's cool to think back and say.........Fuck me...he would be proud right now!

I figured they'd be nice when daily driving or offroading. My buggy is a pickle sucker to get into. Folk that's funny because for some reason your rig reminds me of skipped link here.
 I'm friggen jealous

Sorry about that, I did go to one event at they end of last month, unfortunatly I made the 200 mile tow, and there was no mud, the promoter was told not to do any mud bog or tough truck events at the last minute, I did get to watch the monster truck show for free though,
Long storey short, the truck has been setting in the shop in one piece all nice and clean, sept, 30 I have a race I will be going to, I should have a couple good vids from there that I will post up.
Now, since I have a little time, I've been working on the tow rig thats going to pull the 49 next year,
Here's a little vid to hold you over ti I get some new stuff, this vid is from earlier this summer, the other trucks are a couple friends of mine, running in another class,

enjoy,

Very impressive...Both the build up and the write up. Your brother would would be stoked.
Your last run in that video is wild...I could listen to that run all day!
"The most awesome part was inside the first 20 feet he drove it from our shop to the exhaust shop. Then back and onto the trailer. From there right into the rock pile. Drove the course backwards pushed the cage off the rocks and kept on goin. Balls deep with out even a courtesy spit .
It's nice to see it's owner isn't afraid to use it."

I agree I love hearing the truck run as well, the only down side is whenever I fire it up, there is a good chance it's going to cost me money, Oh well, broken parts are all part of the fun,
I just hope I get some good vids to post,
sgleshot, sorry, but I'll be abusing it on that weekend,

I'am not a Ford man, I'am GM all the way, but I do love your truck. I really like the old classics and you did so good on your buildup. Awesome attention to detail. I watched the video you posted and i got goose bumps from just listening to the killer power your truck has. Sorry for the lost of your brother, he certaintly would be proud of you and i like the nice touch you added of your brother on the truck. Hope to see more vids of your truck.
